"After about 1,538km, I arrived in the Alps. I started looking around and the first thing that struck me were the shapes of the Alps that surrounded me and the immense valleys submerged in snow. I had never heard silence before, only in the Alps. Perceiving -35 degrees, listening and contemplating silence and rethinking what beauty is for me.

We always take refuge in a den when we need to tidy up our thoughts. I have more than one: the sky, the mountains and the sea. It doesn't matter where I am, how I am or what upset me during the day. The planets will continue to orbit the sun, the Earth will continue to influence the tides and I will continue to observe the circular events of things allowing myself to be dragged by the deeper unknnown that is as frightening as it is fascinating.

In the end, what is happiness? I felt it and I was there, living it."
